PROPMASTER AND MODEL MAKER

GIVE THE MAN HIS PROPS

Here’s a guy who must love his work. Rich West’s house is full of movie replica props, including a working full-size Robot, as in the original Lost in Space Robot! When we last visited, he was working on building his own life-size Robby the Robot from Forbidden Planet!

Fitting for a guy who has spent his whole career designing and building props as well as theme parks. From his first spaceship models in his garage, to his first job building props for Clarissa Explains it All. Rich was also a prop maker on the All New Mickey Mouse ClubAdventures in WonderlandGullah Gullah Island, and From the Earth to the Moon, along with many others, and was last seen as an Art Director on Universal’s new Epic Universe theme park.

Rich’s home is filled with fun and fascinating artifacts, and his career is full of fun and fascinating stories.
