READING BETWEEN THE LINES

Write On!

Are you (or your kids) fans of the City Spies series of middle-grade books?  Or maybe Framed, or Dead City? New York Times bestselling author James Ponti is a very busy guy these days, so we were very delighted that he was able to carve out a piece of his schedule to talk to us.

But did you know that he got his start writing for many of the TV shows that were shot here in Orlando?  Shows like SuperboyThe All New Mickey Mouse Club, and The Mystery Files of Shelby Woo.  At the Golf Channel, he added producer to his credits on shows like Golf Now, and Feherty.  He even produced two seasons of RollerJam for Spike TV.

It was after that that James began writing novels.  But it was fun talking to him about the early days of his career.

Thanks for your time, James
